About This Event

The Run-Ten-Ten, 10 K Race and 2 Mile Mutt Strut is an annual event hosted by CARE of South Bend. The race starts and finishes at Howard Park in South Bend. The race course highlights some of the loveliest historic neighborhoods in South Bend as well as the mighty St. Joe River. The race is a USATF sanctioned event. Participants include: serious competitors, casual athletes and local residents. Hundreds of the participants’ family , friends and local residents come to volunteer or watch the event. This race is a signature event for CARE of South Bend. The proceeds from this race support the construction of a new animal shelter for the city of South Bend. We hope you can join us in making the Run-Ten-Ten the premier 10K Race in northwest Indiana.
The walk
The 2 Mile Mutt Strut is a dog walk and fun family event. The walk starts and finishes at Howard Park in South Bend. The walk highlights some of the loveliest historic neighborhoods in South Bend. The walk is part of a signature event for CARE of South Bend. The proceeds from this event support the construction of a new animal shelter for the city of South Bend.

Rules
For the Dogs
- All dogs must wear a collar and be on leash at all times.
- All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
- Owners are responsible for the behavior of their dogs.
- Participants are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Waste bags will be provided for easy clean up.
For the Walkers
- An adult must accompany all children under the age of 14.
